In order to fix this problem, you can try to update your virus database to the latest version available. To do that you can use the update button. After that, you should scan your computer in order to remove all the unwanted malware and viruses. If this don't work, you should follow the instruction that software recommends.

I recently tried to uninstall Kaspersky Antivirus 2011 and it caused more problems with my current set up of my computer than anything. At first, I was unable to get the program uninstalled. It kept coming up with different errors, next it wouldn't allow me to have gadgets on my desktop anymore. It changed the way my current startup is enabled. What's up with this? How do I uninstall it completely and get rid of it?

Kaspersky features a tool that uses different methods to remove their products. You need to download that tool from the official website and run it. Click on How to use this utility and then kavremover.exe. Follow the instructions on the page and Kaspersky will be uninstalled from your system.

You can uninstall Kaspersky products using the available uninstaller. This is a custom tool created by the Kaspersky developers to remove their product versions that are faulty and refuse to uninstall. Visit the website, download the utility and follow the instructions.
